A New Saga Begins

Or continues, it might be more accurate to say.

I've had episode one of "Black Jack 21" sitting here all by its lonesone since not long after I started the site. Apparently I was far more motivated back then, for however brief a time that was. Now, after a way-too-long break, I've finally put up episode two. I might switch and do a volume or two of the manga before finishing, but expect the majority of updates to be Black Jack 21-related until I complete the section.

Anyway...look! An update two weeks after the last one. It's like seeing a unicorn!

I'd like to keep this momentum (ha!), but I start school in the next few days, so time may be limited.

The Deed is Done

Okay, so I didn't really get it done before the end of the year, but close enough, right?

I'm of course referring to the fact that I have completed the "Four Miracles of Life" section. This is a bit of a milestone for me, as it means I've finally completed a section on the site for the first time ever.

What's next? Most likely Black Jack 21, because it's fairly short in comparison to the others, and also my personal favorite of the anime adaptations. If not that, then some more manga volumes, since Vertical will most likely never release the rest of the sealed chapters, making their release complete.

My obligatory New Year's resolution is to attempt to complete another section before this time in 2013, assuming the conspiracy theorists are as crazy as I think they are and we're all still here.

But whether we all die horrible deaths or not, I'm sure we all know the likelihood of me accomplishing anything.

Two Years Down

It has officially been two years since I started this site in an effort to temporarily escape from the horror of the university I was attending at the time. (Not that anyone cared to know that, but it's really the reason this thing exists.)

I've made so few updates to this site that my announcement of its one year anniversary is still on the front page. In fact, it has been nearly a full year since the last one. That's a bit pathethic, but I've made several mediocre fansites using Webs (many of them made when it was still known as Freewebs) and this is by far the longest I've stuck with one. That's got to count for something, right?

Last year I just couldn't bring myself to take the hour or so to sit down, watch an episode, and write up the summary, but I somehow managed to motivate myself this time. Enjoy "U-18 Already Knew" over in the "Four Miracles of Life" section.

I've learned my lesson and will never again promise consistent updates (though that would only matter if people actually visited this site and/or gave a damn whether or not new content was added), but wouldn't it be nice if I could finish the Four Miracles of Life section before the end of the year?

It's a nice thought, but we'll see whether or not I manage to overcome my laziness and achieve that tiny and completely reasonable goal.

It's a Christmas Miracle!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! Happy December 25th to all who don't!

Today, I bring the first in what I hope is many consistent updates. Enjoy Karte 2 over in the "Four Miracles of Life" section.

One Year Anniversary!

So yeah...this site was started one year ago today. I wanted to actually have a content update ready for today, but real life got in the way. Maybe next week?

Anyway...back to studying for finals! Yay...

Site Reformatting!

Since Webs has made quite a few improvements to the blog application, I decided to add one and make it the homepage. Also, I reorganized all the different summary pages under one tab.

Yay, organization!

On the off chance there are regular visitors to the site, (Hi, most likely non-existent people!) just know that I haven't forgotten about the site. I hope to be back to regular updating sometime in the near future. Stay tuned!
